Abstract

Cette invention concerne un dispositif de destruction de pneus comportant un câblé métallique, lequel dispositif comprend les éléments suivants: un corps; une chambre de protection à symétrie axiale située dans ce corps; un système de maintien du pneu devant être détruit qui se trouve dans la chambre de protection durant le processus de destruction; et enfin, un système agissant par impulsions sur le pneu devant être détruit. Ce système permet de séparer efficacement le caoutchouc du câblé métallique lors de la destruction de pneus tout entiers et de tailles différentes, ceci dans des conditions assurant la friabilité du caoutchouc à des températures de préférence fortement supérieures à 0° C, et sans entraîner la destruction chimique dudit caoutchouc. A cette fin, ce dispositif utilise en qualité de système d'action par impulsions sur le pneu à détruire, une ou plusieurs sources de rayonnement électromagnétique cohérent et à impulsions (laser). La chambre de protection est également équipée d'un ou de plusieurs systèmes d'alimentation en fluide de travail et d'évacuation de ce dernier. Cette invention concerne également un système d'étirage des pneus à détruire.
