- the most significant advantage of the passage guidance system according to the invention is the optimizing ability of the same, whereby the most suitable passage route may be chosen in each opera- tional situation by performing an analysis of the situation to activate further based on that only those signals placed along the chosen passage route.

- This type of controlling is required, in case a more complicated construction is involved, whereby tradi ⁇ tional programming may not be utilized.
- the limit for applying traditional programming techniques is met very soon, because even in case of significantly simple constructions a great amount of different kinds of regulations and connections must be taken into consideration, that may not be considered straightfor ⁇ ward when modelling entireties the way required by traditional programming techniques.
- neuro-fuzzy logic whereby primary adjustments determining the operations of the system are being determined by neural network logic, wherein those hereby determined adjustments are being exploited thereafter in the actual passage guidance of the passage guidance system carried out by fuzzy logic.

- the monitoring system and the actuator system belonging to the passage guiding system as well as those separate actuators, measuring devices and the like of the same may be connected to the data proces- sing unit cordlessly for example by utilizing radio frequencies or optically.
