Abstract

Novel substituted pyridine derivatives of general formula (I) in which: X1 is halogen or hydrogen, X2 is halogen; Z is -C(=O)A, -C(=S)A or -CH(OR2)2, and in which A is hydrogen, OR3, SR3, NR4R5, NHOR6, -ON=CR7R8 or NH-N(=C)n(R9)R10; R1 is as defined in the description. The novel active compounds possess plant-protecting properties and are particularly suitable for protecting plants preventatively against infestation with phytopathogenic microorganisms such as fungi, bacteria and viruses.
