Abstract

Des carbonates de polyalkylène n'ont qu'une aptitude à la mise en ÷uvre thermoplastique et des propriétés d'utilisation limitées en raison d'un indice de fusion trop élevé pour le moulage par injection, un retrait important, un faible module d'élasticité et une faible dureté des surfaces des pièces moulées. Ces inconvénients sont palliés par des matières de moulage qui contiennent outre du carbonate de polyalkylène, des oxydes, des carbonates ou des sulfates de métaux du deuxième principal groupe de la classification périodique des éléments, des oxydes des métaux du troisième principal groupe de la classification périodique des éléments, de l'amidon, de la cellulose et/ou du talc dans une concentration allant de 60 à 90 % en masse de polymère à 10 à 40 % en masse d'additif. Ce procédé permet d'utiliser des carbonate de polyalkylène biodégradables dans le domaine des plastiques produits en masse.
