Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a lighter, especially a hand held gas lighter, comprising a lighter body, an ignition part with a grip section, a gas tank with a gas pipe, which gas tank is for containing lighter gas, a gas pipe with an outlet end, a release lever for operating shut-off means in or on the gas pipe of the gas tank and a spring for repositioning the release lever.
  • Hand held gas lighters are well known in the art. They are used widely not only for lighting a cigarette but for several other purposes also. One such other purpose is making light at a pop concert or other such event.

  • One may like to wave the switched on lighter or to switch on and off the lighter alternately following the rhythm of the music. The first way of doing may cause the human fingers to get burned or the lighter body parts to get burned or even to catch fire. The second way of doing may cause the human fingers to get injured mechanically due to the high frequency and the many times one has to strike the gas release lever of the hand held lighter as to follow the rhythm of the music.
