Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de protection pour la partie inférieure de la jambe qui est utile en football. Cette protection constitue un tube protecteur entourant la partie inférieure de la jambe pour que l'axe du tube soit sensiblement parallèle à l'axe longitudinal de la partie inférieure de la jambe. La protection peut comporter: une protection avant pour protéger l'avant de la partie inférieure de la jambe; une protection arrière pour protéger l'arrière de la partie inférieure de la jambe; et un support comprenant une portion de liaison pour faire tenir ensemble les protections avant et arrière. La protection peut comprendre: un support relativement flexible et plusieurs éléments de protection relativement rigides tenus par ce support en étant retenus d'une manière amovible par des moyens de retenue prévus sur le support. L'équipement comprend également une chaussure, de préférence une chaussure de football, comprenant une tige pour recevoir le pied, une semelle externe et une semelle interne conçue pour bien amortir les chocs.
