Abstract

On décrit une installation frigorifique ou pompe à chaleur pourvue d'un échangeur de chaleur à régénération, ainsi qu'un procédé d'échange de chaleur, un procédé de refroidissement d'une pièce, et un procédé de chauffage d'une pièce. Cet échangeur de chaleur à régénération (1) comporte au moins un compartiment (2, 3), des moyens de raccordement permettant l'incorporation de l'échangeur de chaleur dans au moins deux systèmes de canalisation (4, 5 et 6, 7), et des moyens de commutation (8, 9) permettant l'incorporation en alternance du ou des compartiment(s) (2, 3) dans l'un ou l'autre des systèmes de canalisation. Le ou les compartiment(s) sont pourvus d'un lit de matières particulaires. La densité de tassement du lit est comprise entre 0,2 et 0,8. Le diamètre équivalent des particules des matières particulaires est compris entre 1 et 25 mm.
