Description

文字入力による電話番号案内自動化システム 技術分野
本発明は、 電話による番号案内サービスの自動化に関する。 背景技術
従来の電話番号案内はオペレータが質問に答えるという形式を取ってい たが、 このシステムは、 人件費の高騰による企業収益性の観点から、 抜本 的改革を必要としていた。
さらに、 従来は口頭で曖昧な尋ねかたをした際、 オペレータが自分なり の解釈をして誤った情報を答えとして送り返す現象が往々にして生じてい た。
また従来、 電話番号の記録は住所録等の電話機とは独立した媒体になさ れていた。 このため、 様々な不便が生じていたが、 できれば電話番号を電 話機自体に何等かの方法で記録しておきたい。
本発明は、 電話番号案内を自動化することにより、 上記の諸課題の根本 的解決を図ることを目的としている。 発明の開示
【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明のシステムにおいては、 問い合わせを、 従来のように受話器を通 じて音声で行うのではなく、 電話機に設置されたディスプレイ上に表示さ れるメニューに従って質問を入力することによっておこなう。
このために、 まず従来の電話機にディスプレイを取り付けて、 ディスプ レイ上の命令、 質問が回線や電波を通じて電話局内のコンピュータと相互 通信できるように内部でしかるべく接続する。 また、 電話局サイ ドは電話 機上のディスプレイの命令、 質問が直接入力できるようにシステムを整え る。
番号案内を利用するためには、 まず "番号案内ボタン" を押すことから 始める。 この番号案内ボタンを押すことで、 必要な "情報カード入力画 面" が現れるようなシステムをつくる。
情報カード入力画面は "名前" 、 "住所" 、 "電話番号" 、 " F A X番 号" 等の項目からなるとする。 画面が小さい場合はスクロールして各項目 を表示する。
入力は各国の基本アルファべットと数字とローマ字でおこなうが、 その 結果をワープロ並みに変換できるものとする。 但し、 変換後の表示はヮー プロのような、 母国語一種類ではなく、 母国語とローマ字表記の二種類が 併記されるものとする。 そのため、 画面中に "変換ボタン" が必要となる。 なお、 入力の手段は特定しない。
情報カードで指示された項目すべてに入力する必要はないようなフレキ シブルなシステムを構築する。 例えば、 住所の項は無視して名前の項への 入力だけでも電話局側は受け付けるようなシステムである。 また、 キイ ワード検索も可能にする。 例えば、 名前の項の入力は "山口" で住所の項 の入力は "東京都渋谷区" だけでも検索できるシステムである。
入力が終わるとデータを送信する。 送信先の特定は、 従来通り電話機の 番号案内ボタンを押すか、 または "送信ボタン" を押す。 このボタンは画 面中に表示される。
送信された定型的データを入力として、 電話局のコンピュータはデータ ベースを検索し、 その結果得られた答えを自動的に電話機がわへ送り返す。 答えは名前、 住所、 電話番号、 F A X番号等の登録されているすべての情 報が情報カードに記入された形で表示されるものとする。
同一の電話番号に異なる二つ以上の名前が対応している場合 （個人名、 店名） や同一の名前に異なる二つ以上の電話番号が対応している場合 （一 家に 2台） のように重複がある場合は、 同一の情報カード上にそれらがま とめて記載されるものとする。
上記のように構成されたシステムから得られる解答は、 通常複数個ある c これらの複数の情報カードはウィンドウズ形式で画面上に表示される。
得られた電話番号をもとに電話をかけるとする。 この際、 いちいち番号 を押す必要はなく、 画面上で表示されている番号の行を押せば、 その行に 記された番号の相手先に自動的にかかるシステムにする。
さて、 電話機が公衆電話ではなく個人用の電話機の場合、 上記のように して得られた情報を個人用のデータベースに保存することができるような システム作りをする。 このため、 "採用ボタン" を押すと各情報カードが 内部で自動的に "住所録データベース" に記憶されるものとする。
【作用】
上記のように構成された電話機を用いて、 電話番号を暗記していない相 手に電話をかけようとする場合、 まず付属の住所録データベースから必要 な情報カードを検索して相手先の番号を確認する。
相手の番号がデータベースに登録されていない場合は、 番号案内ボタン を押し、 情報カードにわかっている情報を書き込み、 結果を送信して返答 を待つ。
答えが一つの場合は、 それが求める電話番号であるから、 その行を押し て相手につなぐ。 答えが複数の場合は、 住所の項を参考にしてどれか一つ に絞る。
不要の情報カードは削除する。 残った、 情報カードは住所録データべ一 スに保存する。 この時、 関連する情報カードがデータベース中に存在すれ ば二つのカードは融合される。 関連性は電話番号、 名前のどれかの一致で 定義される。
【発明の効果】
本発明は、 以上説明したように構成されているので、 以下に記載される ような効果を奏する。
( 1 ) 電話番号案内用のオペレータが不要になる。 (2) 電話番号案内の解答が瞬時に送り返される。
(3) 送り返された電話番号は改めてメモする必要がなレ、。
(4) その番号を改めてかけ直す必要がない。
(5) 一度、 料金を払って閱いた番号は自動的に記憶されるので、 次回か ら同じ番号を聞く必要がない。
( 6 ) 電話機に住所録 + αのデータベースが付随している。
(7) ディスプレイを利用する機能は電話番号案内だけでなく、 他の様々 な諸機能を組み込んで拡張することも可能である。
(8) 今まで、 オペレータを通じて電話番号を尋ねると、 曖昧な質問に対 し、 オペレータの勝手な解釈で適当な解答がなされてきた。 その結果、 誤った答えが返されるという現象を我々はしばしば経験してきたが、 本シ ステムではこのような現象は生じない。 そのかわり、 曖昧さの結果は複数 解答として表れる。 つまり、 利用者の責任になる。
(9) 今まで、 どんなに長時間話しても、 オペレータが最終的に番号を見 つけられない場合、 料金は無料であった。 このような、 回線使用面から見 た不平等な現象が生じなくなる。

本発明をより詳細に説述するために、 添付の図面に従ってこれを説明す る。
図 1において、 通常画面中の番号案内ボタン 1を押すことにより、 情報 カード入力画面を呼び出す。
図 2は呼び出された情報力一ド入力画面の一例を示すものである。 ここ では、 ひらがな 5 0音文字表示 2を基本にして、 その他のひらがな表示用 ボタン 3が並んでいるエリア、 かな漢字変換ボタン 4、 送信ボタン 5、 検 索ボタン 6が並んでいるエリア、 及び名前の項目とスクロールサイン 7が 並んでいるエリアの 3つの領域に画面が分割されている。
図 3は情報カード入力画面を送信した後、 電話局から返事が返ってきた 様子を示したものである。 各情報力一ドはウインドウズ形式で画面に表示 されており、 各カード番号 8がウィンドウ上の右上隅に記されている。 こ の画面上に情報カードの枚数を表示するボタン 9、 及び採用ボタン 1 0と 削除ボタン 1 1がある。 尚、 スペースの関係で画面上に各カード情報が記 載しきれない場合は右側のスクロールサイン 1 2を押して調べる。 産業上の利用可能性
以上のように、 本発明にかかる電話番号案内自動化システムは電話局に おけるオペレータの人件費を削減し、 企業収益性の改善を図るのに適して いる。
