Abstract

Procédé et appareil (34) de récupération de graines de coton à partir de lots de coton égrainé en vue de leur plantation. Le système qui utilise un acide dilué (12) effectue un mélange graduel des graines floconneuses (11) et de la solution d'acide dilué suivi d'un séchage en masse puis d'une hydrolyse dans une chambre de réaction (34) à tambour rotatif (70) dans laquelle circule de l'air chauffé (36) à température contrôlée. Les paramètres du processus et le schéma de vol des graines floconneuses à l'intérieur du tambour rotatif sont contrôlés pour éviter d'endommager les graines et assurer la qualité nécessaire des graines récupérées (58) en vue de leur plantation.
