Abstract

La chambre de séchage de l'invention comprend: un logement hermétique (1), un chariot (2) destiné à déplacer la pile (3) de bois à sécher, un générateur (4) de haute fréquence, un canal (5) par lequel l'air chauffé est extrait, un canal (10) destiné à l'alimentation en air de refroidissement, des barres (6) conductrices de courant, un système d'application de tension à haute fréquence aux électrodes (7), un capot en métal (8), un système de mise sous vide (9), un système (12) de refroidissement à l'eau, un système (11) destiné à collecter et à évacuer un condensat. Le système permet de maintenir un champ électrique uniforme à la fois sur la longueur de la pile (3) ainsi que sur sa hauteur par agrandissement des points d'alimentantion des électrodes (7) et leur déplacement dans un angle compris entre 0,5 et 2,0 degrés par rapport aux parois latérales de la pile (3), assurant ainsi que le bois est chauffé uniformément dans sa totalité.
