  • the plane 27 lies coplanar with the clutch housing plane 28 bolted against the end plane 21 of the engine block 22, and this means that the mounting planes 27 and 28 can be machined in a single step.
  • the integrated housings 20, 23 form a single suspension device for the gear box 10 and no additional suspension device has proved necessary.

Abstract

Organe moteur pour véhicules automobiles, comprenant un moteur à combustion interne (22) doté d'un embrayage (4, 5) au niveau d'une surface terminale (21) du moteur, ainsi qu'une boîte de vitesses (10) adjacente au moteur. La boîte de vitesse est orientée de façon que l'extrémité distale de son arbre d'entrée (9) soit orientée dans la même direction qu'un arbre (6) accouplé à l'embrayage. Ce dernier entraîne, par un mécanisme de transmission supplémentaire (7, 8, 11), l'arbre d'entrée de la boîte de vitesse, laquelle est placée dans un carter (20, 23) au-dessus du mécanisme de transmission supplémentaire.
