Abstract

L'invention concerne un finisseur qui permet de compacter fortement l'asphalte sans augmentation de la température de traitement ni de l'effort de compactage. A cet effet, le matériau contenu dans deux bennes séparées (M1, M2) montées sur la machine est transporté en même temps par deux systèmes convoyeurs indépendants jusqu'à deux dispositifs distributeurs (VS1, VS2) décalés l'un derrière l'autre dans la direction de traitement qui appliquent et posent le matériau en couches superposées (AS1, AS2). L'invention concerne un procédé permettant de faire fonctionner un finisseur et un finisseur de pose et de compactage de couches d'asphalte qui comprend un système de réservoir dans lequel le mélange chaud est placé temporairement conservé, un convoyeur pour le transport longitudinal de l'asphalte en amont d'une poutre de précompactage et d'enlèvement d'asphalte, ainsi qu'un distributeur qui distribue transversalement le mélange, sans que celui-ci se dissocie, sur toute la largeur de pose.
