Abstract
Description
Schnelltrocknender Nagellack Fast drying nail polish
The invention relates to a quick-drying nail polish and a method for its production.
Nail polishes are among the most commonly used decorative cosmetics. They usually consist of a mixture of film formers and plasticizers which are dissolved in solvents or solvent mixtures. Organic and inorganic pigments and dyes are then added for coloring. When they are used, several layers of lacquer are usually applied one above the other in order to obtain a color which is as uniform and dense as possible. Between the application of the individual layers, however, a certain amount of time has to be waited until the underlying layer has dried to the extent that it can be painted over again. Finally, a nail polish hardener is applied over the last applied layer to give the lacquer the necessary hardness. However, such a procedure is quite time-consuming.
In addition, it is a known problem that an already opened nail polish bottle dries out over time.
The object of the invention is now to provide a particularly fast-drying nail polish which, moreover, does not dry quickly even when the bottle is opened frequently and remains liquid and spreadable over a long period of use.
Bevorzugte PCL-Liquid- Substanzen sind PCL-Liquid RD 97 70 63/73/2.This goal is now achieved according to the invention by adding fat bodies to a commercially available nail polish. Suitable fatty substances are alkyl-branched fatty acid esters with a low solidification point (PLC liquid) or long-chain fatty acid esters (PCL solid), ethoxylated Fatty acid polyglycol ether and / or alkylphenol polyglycol ether. Mixtures of the aforementioned substances have also proven to be expedient. Such mixtures are commercially available as purcellin oils and are also referred to as PCL in cosmetics. Silicone oil and chlorofluorocarbons have also proven to be particularly suitable. Preferred chlorofluorocarbons are monofluorotrichloromethane and difluorodichloromethane. Preferred PCL liquid substances are PCL liquid RD 97 70 63/73/2.
Zur Erzielung von Perlglanzeffekten können die erfindungsgemäßen Nagellacke auch Additive wie Fischsilber, Glimmer oderThe cellulose nitrates contained as film formers in the nail varnish according to the invention are expediently resins based on polyacrylates, polyethacrylates or toluenesulfonamide formaldehyde resins, and also mixtures thereof, which also improve film adhesion on the fingernail. Dibutyl phthalate, camphor or acetyltributyl citrate are expediently added as plasticizers. Common solvents for nail polishes are butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, toluene, 2-propanol and 1-butanol as well as mixtures thereof. To achieve pearlescent effects, the nail polishes according to the invention can also contain additives such as fish silver, mica or
Wismutoxichlorid enthalten. Contain bismuth oxychloride. The basic substances and additives to be used in nail polishes are known to the person skilled in the art.
The invention is illustrated by the following examples.
Beispiel 1example 1
Bei spi el 2A commercially available nail polish (Alessandro GmbH Langenfeld, Germany) was applied to a fingernail and the time was determined before it could be coated again for another layer. This time was 45 seconds. In game 2
A commercially available nail polish was applied to the fingernail, and after the first layer was brushable, a total of 4 layers were applied one above the other, and finally a layer of a nail polish dryer (Phantom nail polish dryer from Alessandro GmbH Langenfeld, Germany) was applied. The application time until curing was 60 minutes.
Beispiel 3Example 3
The nail polish from Example 1 was mixed with the quick-drying nail polish dryer used in Example 2 in a ratio of 7 parts of nail polish to 1 part of dryer, and the mixture thus obtained was applied in four layers one above the other as in Example 2. The curing time of the mixture was 25 minutes.
A comparison of Example 2 and Example 3 shows that the direct admixing of the nail polish dryer results in a faster curing time by more than 2 times.
Bei_sp_ e _l _4The fingers of each hand were then painted alternately in accordance with Example 2 and in accordance with Example 3, and a test subject played with fine sea sand for five minutes with the varnished nails thus obtained. The condition of the paint was then assessed. It was found that the coating according to Example 3 had significantly fewer scratches and adhered better to the fingernail than is the case with the fingernails of Example 2. Bei_sp_ e _l _4
Two commercial bottles of the nail polish from Example 1 were opened on the same day and one of these bottles was mixed directly, as described in Example 3, with a nail polish dryer. Both bottles were opened and used simultaneously for several months. It was found that the commercially available nail polish had dried in after 8 months, whereas the nail polish provided with the dryer was still liquid and brushable after 19 months, without a noticeable change in consistency being noticed.
