Abstract

On forme une couche guide sur une surface, en tant que partie d'une opération de lissage, par exemple, de la carrosserie d'un véhicule, en répartissant un matériau particulaire finement divisé, par exemple une peinture à l'eau non toxique sous forme de poudre noire, sur la surface, afin que ce matériau reste sur celle-ci et mette ainsi en évidence toutes les irrégularités de surface. On peut déposer ce matériau sur la surface à l'aide d'un applicateur, par exemple une éponge ou une mousse synthétique (7), imprégnée dudit matériau. Ce matériau peut être conservé dans un récipient (1) sous une forme non agglomérée, finement divisée (2), ou sous une forme compacte, presque solide (9) de laquelle on peut enlever des particules finement divisées. La plus grande partie de ce matériau est ensuite ôtée de la surface au moment où celle-ci est poncée de manière à faire disparaître les irrégularités mises en évidence par ledit matériau.
