Abstract

L'invention concerne la médecine rééducative ainsi que l'entraînement physique, et elle peut être utilisée pour améliorer la santé générale ainsi que pour exercer les muscles aux extrémités inférieures et supérieures. L'objectif de cette invention est la conception d'un dispositif facilitant l'exercice simultané et confortable des jambes et des bras travaillant sur un vélo. Le vélo d'exercice de l'invention comprend un cadre (1) doté de manivelles (2 et 3) inférieures avant et arrière reliées en tandem, lesdites manivelles étant pourvues de plateaux (4, 5) situées sur des axes de pédalier. Lesdits plateaux présentent le même nombre de dents, elles sont reliées par une transmission (6) à chaîne commune et tournent en phase. Deux plates-formes (7) de pédale allongées, sur lesquelles prend appui la personne faisant un exercice, sont fixées aux axes des bras des manivelles inférieures. La manivelle supérieure (8) est montée sur le tube (9) et reliée, par un axe long (10) doté de pignons dentés coniques (11), à la manivelle inférieure avant (2). Des poignées (12) sont fixées aux axes à la manivelle supérieure, laquelle est tenue par une personne s'entraînant lorsqu'elle se trouve sur ledit vélo. La manivelle supérieure peut être montée dans un manchon (14) et peut être dotée d'un pignon (15). Afin de résoudre le problème des 'points morts' dans la plate-forme à pédales, ledit vélo d'exercice peut être doté de volants (19) dont les disques sont agencés horizontalement dans la plaque de base (20) et peuvent être mis en rotation par les axes verticaux (21).
