Abstract

Un mélangeur de gaz et de liquides comprend un tube d'amenée (3) ouvert au-dessus et au-dessous du niveau de liquide. Au-dessous du tube de guidage (3) est monté un organe turbo-agitateur (8) entraîné par un arbre axial (4) et dont les pales agitatrices intérieures sont entourées d'un anneau (10) qui tourne avec elles. Des pales axiales additionnelles (9) montées sur la face extérieure de l'anneau (10) transportent les gaz et les liquides elles aussi dans le sens axial. Afin d'obtenir des trombes réparties de manière appropriée, tout en améliorant l'amenée de gaz, le tube d'amenée (3) peut être pourvu sur sa face extérieure de tôles (11) agencées en étoile qui servent d'organes générateurs de turbulence. Ce mélangeur, utile par exemple dans des installations d'épuration d'eaux usées afin d'aérer les eaux, ainsi que pour des réacteurs sous haute pression, permet d'augmenter sensiblement la quantité de gaz amenés et de répartir de manière optimale les bulles de gaz. Il permet également d'amener des matières solides, qui sont suspendues de manière remarquable.
