Abstract

Procédé de production d'une bande isolante en fibres minérales, consistant à produire d'abord une première bande non tissée en fibres minérales orientée dans une direction longitudinale parallèle à la direction transversale de la bande parallèle à la bande. On déplace ensuite celle-ci dans le sens de la longueur et on la découpe parallèlement à cette direction et perpendiculairement à la direction transversale de la bande, de manière à produire un ensemble de rubans parallèles. On fait subir une rotation aux rubans de manière à modifier l'orientation des fibres minérales dans chaque bande pour qu'elles passent d'une direction transversale à une direction perpendiculaire à la direction longitudinale et à la direction transversale. On colle enfin entre eux les rubans, de manière à produire une deuxième bande non tissée contenant des fibres minérales perpendiculaires aux directions longitudinales et transversales. Une troisième bande non tissée de fibres minérales est produite et collée à la deuxième bande de fibres.
