Abstract

A system enabling beverages in containers other than bottles, in particular canned beverages, to be drunk with absolute hygiene by means of a straw provided within the container and guaranteed to be sterile until the consumer opens the container to consume the beverage. The system thus avoids all mouth contact with the can and wards off the serious and persistent danger of bacterial contagion and infection owing to the impurities that are invariably present even on the upper portions of such cans.
