  • the use of glass for the decorative base member 24 imparts a higher quality, more aesthetically pleasing appearance to the display device than the known prior art devices.
  • the only use of adhesive in the present device is to attach the transparent housing/stopper member assembly to the support ring 16, the juncture of these elements being visually consealed by the decorative base member 24.

Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un dispositif de présentation décoratif qui comporte une structure de support améliorée et dont au moins la partie extérieure de la base peut être fabriquée en verre. L'ensemble constitué par un logement transparent (10) et par un élément obturateur (14) du logement est monté sur un support (14, 16), lequel peut être formé séparément d'une partie de base externe (24) dont l'aspect esthétique a été amélioré. Le support (14, 16) est associé à la base de façon à soutenir le logement transparent (10). Le logement transparent (10) peut être fixé au support (14, 16) par un adhésif, étant donné qu'il n'est pas nécessaire que le support (14, 16) soit fabriqué en verre et que les parties collées par l'adhésif se trouvent cachées par l'élément de base décoratif (24). Une telle structure de support (14, 16) évite que de l'adhésif se retrouve placé par inadvertance sur les surfaces externes de la base, améliorant ainsi l'aspect extérieur du dispositif de présentation décoratif décrit.
