Abstract

The invention pertains to a method of coating metals by applying a substance that contains (A) at least one polymer and/or at least one constituent that cures into a polymer and (B) elementary silicon. Component (A) preferably contains a polyorganosiloxane and/or a constituent that cures into a polyorganosiloxane.
