Beschreibungdescription
The invention relates to a stapling device with an elongated base part, which has an anvil plate in its front area, with a clip magazine which can be pivoted to a limited extent about a transverse axis on a bearing block in the rear area of the bottom part, with a guide guided in a slide guide of the clip magazine, to the head part spring-supported clamp slide, with a spring-supported magazine cover and one in the head, which can be swiveled about the transverse axis with respect to the clamp magazine and the base part by approximately 180 ° from a closed position into an opened loading position while taking the clamp slide with it Part of the clip magazine engaging driver carrying the cap part, and with a locking mechanism for releasably locking the cap part to the bottom part in its loading position.
In the case of stapling devices of the above type in the form of an upper loader, the staples located in the staple magazine are pushed towards the head part with the aid of the clamp slide under the action of a spring, so that a staple is always available in the head part for ejection by the driver. For refilling, the cap part is folded about the transverse axis into its loading position, which is opened by 180 °, and in the process, the clip slide is carried against the spring force in the slide guide of the clip magazine. The slide retraction takes place either via a tension spring or Pull tab. In both cases, the cap part is under the direct or indirect action of the spring acting on the clamp slide, which tries to pivot the cap part back into its closed position. In order to prevent the cap part from swiveling back unintentionally, it is already known to releasably lock the cap part in its opened loading position by means of a locking mechanism with the base part. For this purpose, for example, the transverse lower edge of the cap part rear wall, which is located in the closed position above the transverse axis, is latched in the opened loading position at a latching point of the bearing block which is located at a corresponding distance below the transverse axis. During the pivoting movement of the cap part, there is a pincer-like closing movement of the cap rear wall and of its transverse edge, as a result of which a finger can be pinched and injured if it is handled improperly. This is particularly the case when the lower region of the base part projects beyond the bearing block at its rear end, which is the case with many known staplers. Often the cap part also protrudes like a clamp over the bearing block, so that there is also a risk of injury in the actuation position by pinching the finger when the cap part is pivoted back from its actuation position to its rest position.
Proceeding from this, the invention is based on the object of improving the known stapling device of the type specified at the outset to the effect that a Safe handling during the charging process without risk of injury is guaranteed.
To achieve this object, the combination of features specified in claim 1 is proposed. Further advantageous refinements and developments of the invention result from the dependent claims.
The solution according to the invention is based above all on the idea that the bottom part on the rear of the bearing block is delimited by a rear, preferably vertical, boundary wall, that the transverse axis is essentially in the plane spanned by the outer surface of the rear boundary wall runs that the cap part at its rear end has a partially cylindrical bearing cover coaxial to the transverse axis, encompassing the transverse axis in sections in a hinge-like manner and projecting beyond the plane of the rear boundary wall, and that there is a narrow passage gap between the rear boundary wall on the base part side and the cap part is arranged for the partially cylindrical bearing cover.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the passage gap has a gap width which cannot be changed when the cap part is pivoted and which should be less than 4 mm in the entire pivoting range in order to avoid pinching a finger in any case. According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, a latching cam arranged on the outer surface of a partially cylindrical bearing cover section and pivotable through the passage gap when the cap part is pivoted, and a latching step arranged on the bottom part or bearing block and accommodating the latching cam in the opened loading position of the cap part or recess provided. This type of snap-in connection is particularly suitable for top-loading devices with spring return.
In the case of upper-loader staplers in which the slide is retracted with the aid of a pull tab which is articulated at one end to the magazine cover and with its other end engages in the staple magazine delimited by two side walls and is guided in a slide guide of the staple magazine According to the invention, it is proposed that in the rear, upper edge-near region of the magazine side walls engaging latching elements are provided in the clip magazine, behind which the pull tab in its end position when the cap part is opened with the side edges of one in the clip magazine immersed tab part is clickable. The latching members can be designed as embossed cams formed in the side walls, the clip magazine on its side walls being elastically expandable during the latching process. According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the latching members are designed as latching balls which extend through transverse bores in the side walls and are mounted in the latter and which are on the Bearing the outside of the side walls against an elastically flexible or resilient abutment, preferably designed as a metallic frame part. In order to prevent the locking balls from falling out, embossed transverse bores are provided on the inside of the side wall.

Außerhalb der teilzylindrischen Lagerabdeckung 44 weist das Kap¬ penteil 34 an seinem rückwärtigen Ende ein im geschlos¬ senen Zustand des Kappenteils mit der bodenteilseitigen Begrenzungswand 42 fluchtendes Wandstück 48 auf, an dessen Unterkante die Lagerabdeckung 44 angeformt ist.5a and b show a sectional view of the bottom part of the staple device according to FIG. 3b in the region of the snap connection between the pull tab and the clip magazine with embossing cams or snap balls. The staple devices shown in the drawing essentially consist of an elongated anvil plate 10 in its front area and a bearing block 12 carrying a bearing block 12 in its rearward area, a bottom part 14 on the bearing block 12 about a transverse axis 16 from a soot raised from the bottom part 14 ¬ position with its head part 20 in the direction of the anvil plate 10 against the force of a spring 18 to a limited extent pivotable clamp magazine 22, a clamp slide 28 guided in a slide guide 24 of the clamp magazine 22 and supported in the direction 20 of the head part 20 by a spring 26 , and one that can be pivoted about the transverse axis 16 relative to the staple magazine 22 and the base part 14 by approximately 180 ° from a closed position (FIGS. 2a, 4a) into an opened loading position (FIG. 2b, 4b) while taking the staple slide 28 with it, magazine cover 31 supported by a spring 30 and one into the head part 20 of the clip magazine 22 If the driver 32 carries the cap part 34. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 4a and b, a pull tab 36 is additionally provided, which has one end by means of a joint 38 on the magazine cover 31 and the other end 40 in a slide guide 41 of the Clamp magazine 22 is guided and which, when the cap part 34 is opened, strikes against the clamp slide 28 and takes it against the force of the spring 26 into its end position which is lifted off the staples 43. The bottom part 14 is delimited on the back of the bearing block 12 by a rear boundary wall 42. As can be seen from FIGS. 2a and b and FIGS. 4a and b, the transverse axis 16 runs essentially in the plane spanned by the vertical outer surface of the rear boundary wall 42. On the other hand, the cap part 34, which is made of plastic, has at its rear end a partially cylindrical bearing cover 44 which coaxially coaxially with the transverse axis 16, hinge-like parts of the transverse axis 16 and protrude beyond the plane of the rear boundary wall. Between the boundary wall 42 and the cap part 34 there is a narrow passage gap 46 for the partially cylindrical bearing cover 44, the gap width of which is less than 4 mm and remains constant when the cap part is pivoted. Outside the part-cylindrical bearing cover 44, the cap part 34 has at its rear end a wall piece 48 aligned with the boundary wall 42 on the bottom part side in the closed state of the cap part, on the lower edge of which the bearing cover 44 is formed.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIGS. 2a, b and 3, an outwardly protruding locking cam 50 is formed on a section of the partially cylindrical bearing cover 44, which protrudes outward when the cap part 34 is closed and when the cap part 34 is opened through the passage gap 46 passes through and engages behind a latching step 52 of the intermediate wall 54 on the bottom part side. This ensures that the spring-loaded opened cap part 34 can not accidentally close when loading. This latching device is particularly suitable for the relatively light top loading staplers with spring return 26 of the staple slide 28.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 4a, b and 5a, b of an upper loader device with pull tab retraction 36 of the clip slide 28, the latching device for the opened cap part 34 consists of two latching members 56 engaging in the rear part in the clip magazine 22, behind which the pull tab 36 in its end position when the cap part 44 is opened, it can be snapped into place with the side edges of its tab part 40 which dips into the clip magazine 22. The locking members 56 can either be formed as embossing cams formed in the side walls 58 of the clip magazine 22 (FIG. 5a) or as locking balls (FIG. 5b) which extend through transverse bores in the side walls 58 and are supported on the outside by an elastically flexible or resilient abutment 60 his. In the latter case, the transverse bores on the inside of the side wall are appropriately cone-shaped.
In summary, the following can be stated: The invention relates to a staple device with a clamp magazine 22 which is pivotably mounted on a bearing block 12 of the bottom part 14 and with a clamp magazine which is pivoted about 180 ° relative to the clamp magazine 22 and the bottom part 14 from an open position into an opened position Loading Position pivotable, a magazine cover 31 and a in the clip magazine 22 engaging driver 32 carrying cap part 34. According to the invention, the bottom part 14 on the back of the bearing block 12 is delimited by a rear boundary wall 42, while the pivot axis 16 of the clip magazine 22 and the cap partly 34 extends essentially in the plane spanned by the outer surface of the rear boundary wall 42. On the other hand, the cap part 34 is provided at its rear end 48 with a partially cylindrical bearing cover 44 coaxial to the pivot axis 16 and hinge-like around the pivot axis, which is characterized by a narrow passage gap 46 which is unchangeable in its gap width when the cap part 34 is pivoted Boundary wall 42 and cap part 34 reaches through. A latching cam 50 can be provided on a section of the part-cylindrical bearing cover 44 and, when the cap part 34 is open, can be latched onto a latching step 52 arranged in the interior of the bearing block.
