Abstract
Un détecteur de profil mobile, en particulier pour détecter des aiguilles abîmées de machine à tricoter, où une électrode (10) montée en une position fixe en face de la trajectoire des aiguilees (3) sur un tambour rotatif est polarisée et dimensionnée de manière à produire une séquence de décharges électriques, dont la fréquence et l'amplitude sont proportionelles à la distance entre l'aiguille (3) et l'électrode (10). Les décharges électriques sont détectées par un détecteur connecté à l'électrode (10) et elles sont conçues pour émettre un signal de décharge électrique qui est fourni pour traitement à une unité de détection d'aiguille abîmée, pour émettre un signal de sortie d'alarme quand aucune décharge ne se produit entre l'électrode et l'aiguille ou que la fréquence ou l'amplitude des décharges diffère de valeurs prédéterminées de référence, par suite d'une cassure ou d'une détérioration de l'aiguille.
