Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un adhésif destiné à coller des couches de papier, selon lequel un adhésif concentré est tout d'abord dilué selon un rapport de 1:10 et ensuite mis en réaction avec un réactif activant, notamment une base. L'invention concerne en outre un adhésif concentré utilisé dans la fabrication de ce type d'adhésif. L'adhésif concentré contient un constituant polyhydroxy ou un composé d'ester polyvynilique et un épaississant, notamment un polymère d'acide acrylique. L'adjonction d'une base à l'adhésif concentré dilué permet de neutraliser l 'épaississant et de le rendre actif. Il est ainsi possible d'ajuster la viscosité de l'adhésif et de l'adapter à chaque type d'utilisation. Le procédé selon l'invention est d'un coût avantageux et permet d'obtenir un adhésif dont la viscosité, la teneur en matières solides et l'adhésivité sont variables. Il est particulièrement indiqué pour la fabrication de couches de papier de soie, de préférence le papier à usage ménager et le papier hygiènique.
