  • Each lifting attachment is connected to the frame 40 through a ram and cylinder arrangement 44 whereby a group of six spaced kegs can be lifted simultaneously by its respective lifting attachment and by retraction of the arrangments 44, the kegs 41 can be brought together as shown for consolidation as a group, the kegs 41 being put down on a surface similarly spaced as was originally picked up.

  • the outer ends of the arms 58 are suitable for pivotal connection thereto by a respective lifting attachment. Extended movement of the arms 58 allows the lifting attachments to be used to engage respective kegs, and retracted movement of the arms 58 with kegs attached brings the kegs together for consolidation and ease for handling.

Abstract

Dispositif de levage comprenant un corps en forme de colonne (10) comportant un moyen d'ancrage (12) situé à son sommet devant être relié à un dispositif de levage. Un premier et un deuxième moyen de montage (14, 16) se trouvent sur le corps (10) espacés verticalement. Un desdits moyens de montage (14 ou 16) est adapté pour pouvoir être déplacé vers et depuis l'autre moyen de montage (16 ou 14) qui est fixe. Des mécanismes de préhension comprennent chacun un bras radial (18) fixé par pivot à leur extrémité interne à une fixation respective située sur l'un des moyens de montage (14 ou 16). Les bras (18) sont façonnés de manière similaire à leurs extrémités externes, chacun sous forme d'un doigt de préhension (22). Chaque bras (18) est en relation par pivot avec un montage correspondant sur l'autre desdits moyens de montage (16 ou 14). Le mouvement d'un desdits moyens de montage par rapport à l'autre moyen de montage provoque l'écartement des bras (18) depuis le corps (10) vers une position de saisie. Un moyen est prévu pour provoquer le déplacement de l'un des moyens de montage. Un ensemble est inclus pour supporter une pluralité de dispositifs de levage.
