Abstract

Appareil adapté principalement pour faire partie d'une installation servant à l'épuration d'eaux usées contenant des métaux dissous, ou pour être utilisé en hydrométallurgie. Il est constitué d'un réacteur à fluide (1) rempli d'une charge (11) de particules métalliques dont le potentiel électrochimique est inférieur à celui du métal séparé, d'un séparateur (2) pour le métal particulaire séparé, et d'un dispositif doseur de celui-ci. Les différentes parties de l'appareil sont reliées les unes aux autres par un tuyau de circulation (4). On introduit la solution contenant les métaux dissous dans le réacteur à fluide (1) puis on réalise un processus de cémentation électrochimique à l'aide de particules métalliques fluidisées, dans lequel le métal ayant le potentiel électrochimique le plus élevé est réduit par sa propre réaction électrochimique et se sépare sous forme solide. Le processus de cémentation électrochimique est autocatalysé par le dosage commandé du métal particulier séparé.
