Abstract

Une peigneuse comprend, montés successivement, un mécanisme destiné à acheminer le produit fibreux à traiter comprenant à son tour un dipositif de transport (1) ainsi qu'une paire de rouleaux d'alimentation (3), et un champ d'aiguilles constitué d'éléments de travail. Lesdits éléments de travail se composent de rouleaux à aiguilles (4) montés en succession, orientés perpendiculairement au sens de déplacement du produit fibreux le long de la totalité de la zone de son traitement. Le nombre des aiguilles (5) des rouleaux (4) augmente dans le sens de déplacement du produit fibreux et chaque rouleau successif (4) tourne à une vitesse dépassant la vitesse linéaire de rotation du rouleau précédent (4). Les aiguilles (5) sont montées inclinées par rapport à la surface extérieure des rouleaux (4), de manière que pendant leur rotation la pointe de chaque aiguille (5) est orientée dans le sens opposé au sens de rotation. La peigneuse comprend également un moyen d'introduction du produit fibreux dans le champ d'aiguille en forme de peigne (6) dont les dents sont situées entre les rouleaux à aiguilles (4), et dont les fentes sont dotées de bords tranchants en forme de racloirs. Un mécanisme de déchargement (9) doté d'une paire de rouleaux d'étirement (7) est monté après le champ d'aiguilles.
