Abstract

On décrit un véhicule de positionnement (10) utilisé dans un système d'abattage continu comprenant des unités de transport modulaires (U) qui peuvent être accouplées pour former un train de transport (T). Le véhicule de positionnement (10) comprend un châssis allongé (12) qui soutient un convoyeur à bande (14) servant à transporter un matériau sous forme d'agrégat reçu à partir du train de transport (T). Un ensemble d'entraînement (34) servant à faire avancer ou reculer sélectivement le train est aussi inclus sur le véhicule de positionnement. En outre, ce véhicule comporte un mécanisme (52) servant à ajouter une unité de transport modulaire au train. Plus particulièrement, l'ensemble d'entraînement (34) du train de transport comprend une paire de vérins (36, 38) d'entraînement en tandem coopérants.
