Abstract

On décrit des chewing-gums contenant de la dextrine non-digestible et des procédés de fabrication de ceux-ci. Selon un mode de réalisation, la gomme comprend environ 5 % à 95 % de base de gomme, environ 0,1 % à 10 % d'agent de sapidité et environ 0,5 % à 90 % de dextrine non-digestible. Celle-ci confère à la gomme des propriétés uniques, et de plus la gomme n'est pas cariogène. Selon d'autres modes de réalisation, on procède au séchage de la dextrine non digestible mélangée avec d'autres édulcorants ou à son évaporation lorsqu'elle est contenue dans un sirop fluidifiant de façon à obtenir des ingrédients édulcorants et des sirops uniques destinés à être incorporés à la gomme. La dextrine non digestible peut aussi se présenter sous forme d'un composé à soupoudrer sur la gomme, ou utilisée de manière à former une couche dure pour une gomme à pastille enrobée.
