Abstract
Bien que l'angle de vision latérale et arrière couvert au moyen de miroirs rétroviseurs par un conducteur au volant de son véhicule soit d'environ 60°, l'angle auquel d'autres véhicules roulant côte à côte atteignent les portières arrière dudit véhicule, les miroirs rétroviseurs existants ne permettent qu'une vision sur 45°, empêchant les conducteurs de voir l'espace latéral (appelé espace mort). L'invention a résolu les problèmes précités par un miroir rétroviseur extérieur et intérieur pour véhicule utilisant le système intégrant un miroir courbé convexe couvrant un grand angle de manière à voir l'espace latéral dans le miroir rétroviseur, et par l'emploi d'une lentille convexe ayant un grossissement et une courbure adaptés au miroir courbé de manière à grossir les images réduites de véhicules sur ledit miroir courbé convexe jusqu'à la taille réfléchie par des miroirs rétroviseurs existants et de manière à réfléchir une large plage d'image sur le miroir courbé, devant ledit miroir.
