- the fire and occupational health and safety regulations do justice to doors that clear the way for the purpose of escape, but close smoke-tight and prevent the flames from continuing to penetrate even for a long time; For example, doors that guarantee a fire resistance limit of 1.5 hours should be used in particularly vulnerable workplaces. Such regulations also relate to the security doors installed in cable rooms.
- the known security doors are generally constructed from closed profiles and steel plates, occasionally lined with thermal insulation material and painted from the outside with heat-protective paint.
- the known security doors can be opened from the left or right or have two wings.
- the swinging doors guarantee escape from both directions, but the fire resistance of swinging doors is low.
- the main problem with the security doors that open only in one direction is that when escaping a door that opens in the direction of the fire does not guarantee an undisturbed march.
- the aim of the tightly closing security door according to the invention was to eliminate the deficiencies of the known solutions and to provide a security door which enables an undisturbed escape in both directions, closes completely smoke-tight and a limit value guaranteed fire resistance of at least 1.5 hours.
- the creation of the security door according to the invention in accordance with the above-mentioned tasks is based on the knowledge that a security door which can be opened in both directions can be created for closing openings in partition walls if one opens in one direction, in one Large door framed by a frame opening in the other direction built in a smaller door.
- the increased fire resistance is ensured, in addition to measures known per se, by edges formed from the protruding ends of the door surfaces.
- the object is now achieved according to the invention by means of a tightly closing security door which can be opened in both directions and which is particularly suitable for closing cable rooms and the rooms of other extremely endangered companies, and in which the door surface is secured to the door frame by means of hinges which secure three points is suspended, the door surface is closed on the door frame by means of a lock that can be closed by hand, heat-insulating material is built into the door surface and the gap between the door frame and the door surface is sealed.
- the essence of the solution according to the invention is that it contains two doors opening in opposite directions, of which the large door is hinged to a door frame built into the wall, while the small door is hinged to one formed in the large door Frame is attached, the doors are attached to each other and on the door frame by means of closing structures that can be closed by hand and the doors are provided with sealing edges on their side facing away from the opening direction.
- the expression "wall” is used here for all constructions with which rooms can be divided.
- the large door consists of a frame forming the frame of the small door and of cover plates attached to this frame.
- the cover plate is a steel plate which is fastened by welding to the closed profile forming the frame of the small door, and the peripheral edge of the cover plate forms that between the large door and door frame and between the large and small door located sealing edge.
- the small door consists of a further frame made of closed profiles and a cladding plate made of sheet steel welded to the opening on the opening side and a cladding plate riveted on the opposite side, and the protruding part of the cladding plate forms another Sealing edge between the small and the large door, and stiffening ribs adjoining their frame are built into the small door.
- the cavities of the doors and frames are filled with thermal insulation material known per se, and the cover plates, the cladding panels, the door frame, the frames, the hinges and other parts are treated on their outer surface with fire protection paint, and the Columns are provided with fire protection sealing cord.
- both doors are provided with a manually operable locking structure of the same structure, the locking structures having a disc locking shaft to which the pawl mounted on the opening / closing disc and the other discs are attached from the outside individually an upper vertical locking bar, lower vertical Connect the locking bar and a horizontal locking bar.
- the locking bars of the manually operable locking structure of the large door extend into the door frame
- the locking bars of the locking structure of the small door extend into the frame of the large door
- the hinges of the large door are on one side of the room dividing wall, which are attached to the small door on the other side of the room dividing wall.
- FIG. 1 shows the security door according to the invention in a front view
- FIG. 2 shows a horizontal section of the security door according to the invention together with the opening in both directions
- FIG. 3 shows the horizontal section drawn out in detail
- FIG. 5 shows the section of the manually operable
- FIG. 6 shows the lower vertical locking bars in the closed position.
- in frame 7 there is an in an old, already existing door frame 1 suspended large door 2 a small door 3 that opens to the left. It can be seen from the figures that the large door 2 opens to the right. Either Large door 2 and small door 3 are hung at three points by means of hinges 5. The hinges 5 of the large door 2 are fastened in the door frame 1, the hinges 5 of the small door 3 on the frame 7 of the large door 2.
- the large door 2 has on the right side, ie on the opposite side of the opening direction, for the purpose of sealing the gap between the door frame 1 and the large door 2, a sealing edge 4 projecting all around.
- the small door 3, however, is on the other side a sealing edge 4 closing the gap between the large door 2 and the small door 3.
- the door frame 1 can be an old door frame fastened in the wall.
- the door frame 1 consists of U-profiles and is installed in the wall with fastening hooks.
- the large door 2 is stiffened by the closed profile forming a peripheral frame 7 and the small door 3.
- the large door 2 is covered with a lower cover plate 10 in which there is a cut-out depending on the size of the small door 3.
- the frame 7 of the small door 3 is also formed by closed profiles.
- the closed profiles of the frame 7 have a smaller cross-section on the side with the hinges 5, and a larger cross-section on the side of the manually operable locking structure 6 Cross-section.
- the lower cover plate 10 is welded all around to the closed profiles forming the frame 7 of the large door 2.
- the lower cover plate 10 is a steel plate, and its peripheral edge facing the frame 7 is designed as an extended sealing edge 4 on the side towards which the large door 2 opens.
- the small door 3 is covered on one side with a cladding plate 11, which suitably consists of sheet steel and is preferably welded to the closed profiles of the frame 7.
- the small door 3 is provided with a riveted cladding panel 12, the peripheral edges of which form the sealing edge 4 between the large door 2 and the small door 4.
- the closed profiles forming the frame 7 of the small door 3 are connected by stiffening ribs 13.
- the large door 2 is also stiffened by the small door 3.
- All cavities of the large door 2 and the small door 3 can be filled with thermal insulation material 14, which further improves the fire resistance of the doors. Any known thermal insulation materials can be used for this purpose.
- the manually operated locking structure 6 is shown in Fig. 3 in a horizontal section, in Figs. 4 and 5 in a vertical section from both sides.
- the actuating element of the locking structure 6 is the disk closing shaft 15, which is expediently produced together with the disks by machining in one piece.
- Each disc of the disc closing shaft 15 is connected to a locking rod, in sequence: upper vertical locking rod 16, lower vertical locking bar 17 and horizontal locking bar 18.
- the disk closing shaft 15 of the closing structure 6 is provided with a pawl from the opening side for the large door 2 on one side and for the small door 3 on the other side.
- the security door according to the invention can be actuated from any side depending on the direction of escape.
- the opening takes place by rotating the latch on the side to be opened at a corresponding angle, for example 90 °, as a result of which the disc closing shaft 15 pulls the locking rods out of the locking position and thus releases the door for opening .
- the disc closing shaft 15 pulls the locking rods out of the locking position and thus releases the door for opening .
- either the large door 2 or the small door 3 opens.
- the greatest advantage of the security door according to the invention is that it ensures an escape route on both sides and that there is also a much longer security against the breaking of flames than in the known solutions; According to our own calculations, the door is fireproof for at least 1.5 hours. Further advantages of the security door according to the invention are that it is simple, has a three-point suspension, requires only minimal maintenance and can also be installed in old door frames. By the sealing edges 4 and the possible use of the sealing cord, the air or smoke tightness is increased.
