Abstract

Trépied pour armes à feu comprenant un support pivotant (1) à axe vertical, aux brides (5, 6, 7) duquel sont fixés des pieds réglables télescopiques (2, 3, 4), l'axe de la première bride étant horizontal afin que le pied (5) puisse tourner dans un plan vertical, et les axes des deuxième (6) et troisième (7) brides étant symétriques par rapport à un plan vertical traversant le premier pied et dans la vue en plan et les vues d'avant et de côté des axes étant disposés à angles aigus par rapport à l'axe du premier pied, la rotation des premier et deuxième pieds (6, 7) pouvant ainsi modifier les angles que forment ces pieds dans la vue en plan avec le plan du premier pied (2), tous les pieds ayant la même longueur. Grâce à un quatrième pied (8) plus court fixé au premier pied, la distance entre l'axe du support pivotant et le point de contact entre le premier pied et le sol peut sensiblement diminuer lorsque l'on dispose les deuxième (6) et troisième (7) pieds en formant un angle aigu afin de permettre le tir au niveau du sol dans un sens suivant sensiblement l'axe longitudinal du premier pied (2).
