Abstract

The system consists in the delivery of a magnetic checking means from the organizer or from other corporations, such as for instance managers or credit cards, bank corporations and other ones interrelated or conventioned in different ways with the same organization, which checking means is to be used in a computer terminal in the place where the performance or event takes place. This magnetic check means enables, at the entrance, by controlling the opening, according to one or more phases, of one or more time preclusion means, as for instance a gate or other, allowing the entrance also to a parking place, if any, and of course to the area where the performance will take place.

Description

"System for acceding to public performances and other events

The invention refers to a computerized means allowing to ^' accede to public performances and manifestations of different kinds only to the persons holding a special nominal magnetic check recognition means. This means will bear data of different kind to enable the competence identi¬ fication, as for instance the car parking area and the seat or sector allowed for attending to the performance. The magnetic means to use in a computer terminal causes the time opening of a precluding means, such as a gate or other, and allows the computer memorization of the data concerning the user. This enables elaborations and connections of different kinds, such as the person recogni- tion, the automatic payment in a ecial account and/or by means a bank credit and, if necessary, enables evaluations of immediate employ.

At present, in the management of public performances and sport events or other, some fundamental requirements are felt, such as the adoption of a system for intervening in a preventive form, to efficiently oppose or, in any case, to allow an immediate intervention in any case of violence and hooliganism, to accede to the area of the public performance in the speediest and organized way, as well as to avoid "cornerers's acts". All these require¬ ments can be fulfilled by the system according to the invention which enables to enter but those persons who owe a magnetic check allowing the entrance and transmitting the data concerning its owner to the personal computer terminal, which means is delivered exclusively to the person for his exclusive use only by the same organization or by another one, such as a bank, or a credit company in general, for the automatic charge of the ticket costs at the entrance moment. What precedes already grants the solution of two present problems because it enables only the persons'entrance for whom a special bank or another convention type is operating, thus avoiding "cornerers¹acts", the sale of entrance false tickets, making quicker the entrance to event by avoiding the present necessity of going to the ticket --selling cash. Furthermore, the name of the a ready entered user enables to elaborate and send information of different kinds. The position occupied by the person to attend to the performance, the competing parking sector, if any, the sector and/or the seat that has been allotted, enable the immediate research and indivi- duation in connection with the requirements of preventing acts of violence, in order to immediately recognize socially dangerous persons or anyhow signalized ones, as well as to point out the position to anybody, and at last to com unicite anything that could be of interest.

Furthermore the elaboration of the statistical interest by the elaborator can be properly prepared in advance to get data to use for different purposes, such as those to individualize the indexes of advertising interest concern¬ ing products and services, for statistical notices of different kinds, to acquire data and information from the user himself to be used for different programmes to be carried out in the scope of the performance, or in possible interconnection with this one, such as prize competitions, promotional performances and others.

In a not limitative form of realization of the system, within the limits of an agreement with managers of credit cards and/or bank institutes, a magnetic band card is delivered to the user to empower him to accede to the performance place at the entrance, automatically debiting the relevant account, thus exhausting the formalities for acceding to the performance or manifestation place. According to what has been marked on the magnetic checking device at the entrance, or according to the user's choice to order in advance, the card allows the car parking place, if required, and the position or sector from which to attend to the performance. In a preliminary way, by means of checking the data supplied by the elaborator, as far as acts of violence or signaling somehow dangerous persons, the system enables to get aware of these person's presence as well as of their place, in order to enable, if required, the public security service to take the proper measures. The possibility of knowing where a certain person is located, furthermore, enables to communicate it to whom is anyhow interested in, as well to communicate with this same person.

1) System for acceding to public performances and other manifestations, characterized by the fact that the delivery of a magnetic checking means is foreseen from the performance organizers or other organization, as for istance managers of credit cards, banking or other ones in different way interrelated or conventioned with the same organization, which checking magnetic means is to be used at one terminal of an elaborator fitted at the entrance of the place where the performance will be carried out, and will enable, in a preliminary way, at the entrance by controlling its openings, according to one or more phases, of one or more preclusion means, as for instance a gate or other, to accede to a car parking place, if any, and obviously to the. place where the performance will be carried out. This enables to avoid cornering, the use of false tickets and restrict the possibility of acceding to the performance to unwelcome persons, since the recognizing means is of exclusively nominal competence. Furthermore, the sistem enables to avoid the purchase of the ticket at the entrance and simplifies the technical access times to the performance: this because the elaborator controls the automatic opening of the preclusion device and manages to debit what is due in connection with th entrance fee on the credit card.

2) System for acceding to public performances and other manifestations, as . per claim 1), characterized by the fact that in accordance with what has been pointed out on the magnetic checking means shown by the user while entering, or on the base of his choice taken in advance, the elaborator allows a parking place, if required, as well as a seat and a sector from which the user will be able to attend to the performance. ^' By checking the data supplied by the elaborator, as far as the prevention of violence acts and the identification of in some way dangerous persons are concerned, it is possible to know the persons who have entered and the sectors occupied by them. This enables the order forces to take the necessary weariness arrangements and to intervene in case of need. The possibili- ty of knowing the position of a given person, furthermore, enables to communicate his presence to anybody who could require to communicate with this person in case of need.

3) System for acceding to public performance and other manifestations, as per claim 1), characterized by the fact that the transmission of the different data contained in the magnetic check means to the elaborator can be used for advertising, promotional programs, as well as for statistical researches for either immediate or susequent use.

4) System for acceding to public performances and other manifestations, as per claim 1), characterized by the fact that in a version, the delivery of a magnetic band card has been foreseen, to a possible user, from the perfor¬ mance organization or from a bank or a credit cards manager, which enables to enter the place where the event is perform¬ ed, and supplies different kinds of data. Furthermore, this magnetic card can be established in advance to enable the user for other purposes within the limits of what is allowed by the known conventions.
