Abstract
Description
Vorrichtung zum Abtragen von Faserballen Device for removing bales of fiber
The invention relates to a device for removing fiber bales according to the preamble of the main claim.
In a known device for removing fiber bales (DE-OS 37 34 556) it is provided in a removal device that can be moved in travel rails that fiber bales are set up in series parallel to the feed direction of the removal device on a support wall that can be displaced in the direction of the bale installation. The support wall is intended to ensure that the bales of fiber are properly set up in a simple manner.
This sliding support wall only ensures the exact alignment of the installed fiber bales. When setting up the desired fiber bale sections, however, there is the problem that the U ripening of the bale or other packaging must first be removed and then the bale must be set up in the bale sequence to be processed. The disadvantage here is that the bales grow after the packaging means have been released, since this reduces the cohesion of the bales and the bale can at least partially dissolve. Another problem arises from the fact that bales of different provenances have different growth behavior, so that the contour of the set up row of bales can become extremely inhomogeneous, which results in additional difficulties for the subsequent processing of the row of bales. The invention has for its object to develop a device of the type mentioned in such a way that the assembly of a bale template can take place in a short time with simultaneous alignment of the fiber bales and in which the influences of different growth of the fiber bales is reduced .
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe dienen die Merkmale des Hauptanspruchs. The features of the main claim serve to solve this problem.
According to the invention, several bales are arranged side by side on a support plate, which is provided with a support wall at its end facing away from the removal device. Advantageously, the support wall can accommodate a hold-down device for the bale surface, as a result of which the fiber bales arranged next to one another on the support plate are kept at a uniform height, even if the packaging means, such as strapping, jute surface or the like, have been removed. Such a support plate with a support wall consequently makes it possible to set up a complete bale display in a very short time by placing several support plates in parallel and at the same time to prevent the bale growth from occurring. In this way it is possible, for example, to prepare a complete bale display for later processing, which processing can be carried out at any later time.
It is preferably provided that the support plate is attached to a rail running parallel to the feed direction of the removal device at a predetermined distance. is settable. The rail makes it easier to align the support plates arranged next to each other and thus saves time.
An advantageous further development provides that the supporting walls overlap support plates arranged next to one another and can be assembled into a continuous, uninterrupted supporting wall.
It is preferably provided that the support surface of each support plate rises slightly towards the end facing the support wall and towards the end facing away from the support wall. In this way it is achieved that the two outer fiber bales are pressed lightly against the fiber bales located further inside, so that the falling of bales or bale parts is counteracted when the support plates are transported.
The hold-down device can consist of at least one rod that can be inserted through the end wall at the top edge of the bale. By simply pushing through such rods, the growth of the bales can be prevented and a uniform height of the bales can be achieved even with longer dwell times.
In a development of the invention it is provided that the support plates can be placed on a transport system running parallel to the feed direction of the removal device. Such a transport system, for example treadmills, an air cushion transport system or support plates placed on two parallel rails, makes it possible to place a row of bales across the transport system at a specific point. If the transport system is slightly inclined, several support plates could even be lined up automatically.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the single drawing.
The figure shows the device according to the invention for removing fiber bales.
Mit fort¬ schreitender Abnahme der Höhe der Preßballen senkt sich der Ausleger 5 entsprechend mit ab.The device 1 for removing pressed fiber bales 4 standing in several rows has a tower 2 which can be moved back and forth on rails 3 along the rows of bales. The tower is provided with a cantilever 5 which is attached to one side of the tower 2. In the housing 7 of the boom 5, a milling device is accommodated, which consists, for example, of two milling drums which run in opposite directions to the center of the pair of rollers and remove 4 fibers or flakes from the upper surface of the fiber bales and fling them upwards between them. By means of a pneumatic suction flow, the loosened fibers and the like reach the interior of the tower 2, in which they are transported away via a suction channel 12. As the height of the baling bales progressively decreases, the boom 5 is lowered accordingly.
As can be seen from the exemplary embodiment, the fiber bales 4 are arranged in longitudinal and transverse rows, five fiber bales 4 each being arranged next to one another on a support plate 6. The length of the support plate 6 corresponds to dab. the width of about five fiber bales, while the width of the support plate 6 is essentially the Length of the fiber bale corresponds. For example, the width of the support plate 6 can be 1.25 m. For the respective outer fiber bales 4, the supporting surface of the support plate 6 can rise slightly outwards, for example, by approximately 13 mm to the edge in order to close the outer fiber bales 8, 9 against the fiber bales 4 located between these fiber bales to press. This slight tilting of the outer fiber bales 8, 9 facilitates the transport of the support plate 6 with the fiber bales erected, since the bales support each other themselves. As a result, the risk of falling off individual bale parts or entire bales during transport is reduced.
At the end facing away from the tower 2, the support plate 6 has an essentially vertically upwardly projecting support wall 10, which is stabilized with the aid of supports 11 extending at right angles to the support wall and the support plate 6.
The supporting wall 10 has two openings 14 in the upper region which, as can be seen on the row of bales across the left in the figure, can accommodate a holding-down device, for example rods 15. The rods 15 can prevent the growth of the fiber bales solely by their weight and, on the other hand, are easily removable shortly before the start of the processing process. The rods can also protrude slightly beyond the end of the row of bales and be fastened there to the support plate 6 with the aid of bands in order to increase the contact pressure. The side parts of the support walls 10 are adapted to one another in such a way that they partially overlap when the support plates 6 are set up, in order to form a closed support wall 10 when a plurality of support plates 6 are lined up. For example, the support wall 10 can overlap the respectively adjacent support wall 10 on one side with a recessed wall section 18.
A free space can be provided between the support plate and the floor, e.g. in which the support plates 6 are provided with feet or rollers. Forks of a forklift truck can engage in this free space and lift the carrying plate 6 together with the fiber bales and transport them away. The alignment of the support plates 6 arranged next to one another can be carried out with the aid of the support walls 10 or also with the aid of a further rail 20 which runs parallel to the rails 3 and serves as a stop face for an exact alignment of the support plates 6 .
Finally, the support plates 6 can be used in connection with a transport system running parallel to the process path of the tower 2. The support plates 6 are then placed on one end of the transport system and automatically strung together.
A simple transport system consists of two rails parallel to the rails 3, onto which the support plates provided with corresponding rollers can be placed.
In the case of a slight slope of the rails, the lining-up of the support plates 6 could take place automatically. The features of the invention disclosed in the above description, in the drawings and in the claims, even if they are only described in connection with a specific exemplary embodiment, are intended both individually and in any combination for realizing the invention in its various embodiments be essential.
