Abstract

L'invention concerne essentiellement des installations de purification de gaz dont le fonctionnement prévoit l'inversion du sens d'écoulement, et comportant un système de canal à double usage, c'est-à-dire que lorsqu'il fonctionne dans le sens d'écoulement de passage, il constitue le canal d'admission acheminant du gaz pollué dans l'installation, et lorsqu'il fonctionne dans le sens d'écoulement opposé, il constitue le canal de décharge de gaz purifié. Selon l'invention, on empêche du gaz pollué de se décharger dans l'atmosphère pendant et immédiatement après l'inversion du sens d'écoulement, par nettoyage de l'installation de purification à l'aide d'air neuf ou d'un autre gaz de nettoyage, pendant une durée prédéterminée.
