Abstract
Ce procédé d'adaptation de la forme de plaques d'ostéosynthèse (5) en matière synthétique thermoplastique, où sont noyées des fibres de renforcement (9), consiste à chauffer la matière synthétique thermoplastique pour pouvoir l'ajuster même à l'intérieur du corps et sans modifier la plaque d'ostéosynthèse (5). A cet effet, on soumet la plaque d'ostéosynthèse (5) à un rayonnement électromagnétique et l'on réchauffe la matière synthétique entourant les fibres (9) à l'aide de ce rayonnement transformé en chaleur dans les fibres de renforcement (9), jusqu'à ce que cette matière puisse être déformée.
