Abstract

Une machine d'exploitation minière de longues tailles comprend une tête d'alimentation située sur un front de taille adjacent à la longue taille et une tête de coupe de percement d'un trou de mine dans une veine de charbon lorsqu'elle est propulsée en avant par l'intermédiaire d'une poutre de compression à sections multiples. Ces capteurs permettent d'effectuer des mesures multiples de la position du trou et de l'épaisseur du charbon à mesure que l'on exploite le trou de mine. Un affichage est généré afin de produire un plan du trou de mine et des limites de la veine, de sorte que l'opérateur puisse ajouter ou annuler des réglages programmés des commandes de la machine lorsqu'il guide par la suite la machine. Ces données permettent également de calculer automatiquement la quantité de charbon exploitée, la vitesse d'exploitation du charbon, la quantité de charbon encore non exploité ou le taux de récupération du charbon.
