Abstract
Le four vertical décrit, qui est en particulier conçu pour la fabrication de laine minérale et qui comprend une chambre de four (1) comportant une zone de brûlage primaire (1a) et une zone de brûlage secondaire (1b) ainsi que des entrées (4) pour l'air de combustion primaire (4a) et des entrées (5) pour l'air de combustion secondaire (5a), est équipée d'un tube d'injection d'air (6) axialement mobile dans l'axe vertical du four de haut en bas et servant à acheminer de l'air de combustion secondaire supplémentaire (6a) dans la zone de brûlage secondaire (1b), afin d'améliorer sensiblement la réduction de l'émission de sulphure d'hydrogène (H2S) et de monoxyde de carbone (CO) par les gaz d'échappement de four.
