Abstract

La présente invention se rapporte à un gobelet thermo-isolant pour boissons, qui est obtenu à partir d'un récipient (3) dans lequel est scellé du polyéthylène (2), autour des parties circonférentielle et inférieure d'un corps de gobelet (1), la surface externe du produit qui en résulte étant ensuite recouverte d'une structure extérieure en bois (4) et d'un couvercle de fond (5). Le récipient (3) dans lequel est scellé le polyéthylène (2) est placé dans une cuve à température constante d'environ 200°C et est chauffé pendant environ 10 minutes. Le récipient (3) est ensuite sorti de la cuve à température constante et le corps de gobelet (1) est introduit dans le récipient (3), une boisson pouvant alors être versée dans le corps de gobelet (1). La chaleur de solidification du polyéthylène (2) émise par rayonnement à partir du récipient (3) dans lequel est scellé le polyéthylène (2) est transmise au corps de gobelet (1) pour empêcher une diminution de la température de la boisson, de façon à produire notamment l'effet thermo-isolant.
