Abstract

L'invention concerne une prothèse de la hanche et son emploi dans des opérations de la hanche. Cette prothèse est constituée essentiellement d'un corps creux ouvert latéralement, de section (31) en forme de fer à cheval. Cela permet une adaptation optimale aux lignes de transmission de force. De préférence, la prothèse comporte une tige (3) se présentant sous la forme d'un corps creux ouvert latéralement, une partie col (2) plus massive et une tête (1) réglable de manière multidimensionnelle sur la partie col. La prothèse peut également être conçue comme un implant total se présentant sous la forme d'une prothèse à tige droite avec répartition massique en S.
