Abstract

Le procédé décrit sert à acheminer une substance dans un dispositif de compostage fonctionnant en continu (1) qui es alimenté par intermittence et de façon pulsée avec de la tourbe, du purin, de la paille, du gazon ou toute autre substance destinée à être décomposée par un procédé aérobie. Cette substance quitte généralement le dispositif de compostage (1) après un traitement de quelques jours et est transférée vers une pile de stockage et/ou de combustion ultérieure. Selon la présente invention, l'acheminement s'effectue au moins sur une partie de la distance en amont à travers un canal (4) auquel la substance suffisamment sèche adhère par l'effet de friction pendant que la boue s'écoule vers l'arrière, et le volume d'une unité d'acheminement (5) est inférieure à un quart du volume du canal d'acheminement pris dans sa totalité.
