Abstract

Le dispositif décrit comporte un laser excimer (1) et un dispositif de mise en forme (3) pour distribuer la densité de l'énergie de rayonnement sur la section transversale du faisceau laser (2). Le dispositif de mise en forme (3) est composé d'une cuvette optique (7), dont les fenêtres (8, 9) sont montées de manière rotative autour de l'axe (21) du faisceau (2), leurs surfaces internes étant des surfaces de révolution de deuxième ordre. La cuvette (7) est remplie d'un milieu (10) qui absorbe en partie les rayonnements laser. Ce dispositif permet d'appliquer les rayonnements simultanément à la totalité de la surface de la cornée et d'obtenir, grâce au rayonnement, une surface lisse ayant le profil souhaité.
