Abstract

Un panneau isolant est formé d'une couche supérieure (1), ayant la forme d'une membrane à l'épreuve des intempéries et perméable à la vapeur d'eau, d'une couche intermédiaire en mousse (3) et d'une couche inférieure métallique (4) qui sert de barrière antivapeur. La couche en mousse (3) assure l'isolation thermique et sert de lien entre les couches extérieures (1 et 4). Une couche en fibres de verre (2) est de préférence incorporée dans la région supérieure du panneau pour accroître la rigidité. Les bords du panneau sont de préférence pourvus d'une structure à nervures et à rainures en prise les uns avec les autres, ladite structure pouvant également être reliée à des éléments à canaux de support pour un système de toiture complet.
