Abstract

Appareil et procédé pour la séparation, sur la base d'un écoulement continu, de liquides immiscibles s'écoulant sous la forme d'un courant commun, l'un de ces liquides renfermant un autre liquide dans un conduit d'écoulement. Le conduit comprend une surface interne qui est sélectivement ''mouillable'' par l'un des liquides à l'exclusion d'un autre de ces liquides. Les moyens de séparation des liquides sont disposés dans le conduit et séparent les liquides, ou au moins une partie de l'un des liquides, du courant commun de liquides pendant que le courant s'écoule en contact avec les moyens séparateurs à l'intérieur du conduit. Un appareil et un procédé d'introduction d'un liquide sur la base d'un écoulement continu dans un courant d'écoulement d'un autre liquide qui est immiscible avec le premier et qui s'écoule dans un conduit sont également décrits. Le conduit comprend une surface interne qui est sélectivement ''mouillable'' par l'un des liquides à l'exclusion de l'autre de ces liquides. Les moyens d'introduction des liquides sont disposés dans le conduit et forment un courant commun de liquide s'écoulant en continu dans le conduit, l'un des liquides étant encapsulé par un autre de ces liquides, au moment ou les liquides se mélangent au niveau de l'appareil d'introduction de liquide dans le conduit.
