Description

Installation de W.C. auto-nettoyante_d'une_cuvette_fixe_et de son siège_rotatif. Installation of self-cleaning WC of a fixed toilet and its rotary seat.
An object of the present invention is to automatically provide cleaning of the interior of a bowl, and cleaning, disinfection, drying of the top of a movable seat coupled to the bowl.
Another object is that the installation is as simple as possible, without tilting the seat or the bowl.
Another aim is that cleaning and drying are economical and efficient.
Another aim is to increase the robustness of the W.C. by a rotary and rigid seat securely joined to the bowl on its periphery, unlike the current noisy flaps and fragile fixing.
Another aim is to design the most suitable means for cleaning a rotary seat in the form of a rigid disc pierced with a large oval hole and of diameter substantially equal to the length of the current flaps, so that this diameter is aesthetically acceptable with a sufficient projection to sit comfortably.
Another object is that the cleaning of the upper face of the seat is exclusively carried out by means not requiring friction of said face, therefore without brush or scraper arranged to limit the spreading of the liquid on the rear and annular part from the headquarters. These means, without friction, being more reliable, making it possible to obtain more hygiene, more simplicity, and less maintenance.
Another object is that the installation is inviolable by not requiring a presence detector, due to a constant closure of the cleaning-drying station, without accessibility for the user, unlike the gaping opening a door necessary for the exchange of seats.
Another object aims to achieve an aesthetic and clean installation by the use of a suspended bowl, and by embedding the means for cleaning the bowl and the seat behind a removable partition forming a back wall.
Another aim is to prevent blockage of the bowl, by means of filtration and storage of objects which can clog the siphon placed between the bowl and the downpipe (fall) of dirty water.
In the prior art, the invention PCT / FR.86 00099 of the present inventor appears, having the advantage of fully or partially meeting the aims of paragraphs 1, 2, 3. 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, but not of all for the purpose of paragraph 6.
In the present invention, the cleaning performance, without brushing, is the result of a sequential technique with activation and confinement of the liquids sprayed on a rotary seat allowing, moreover, cleaning and drying in a very short time, of the 'order of 12 seconds; - a consumption of water, for cleaning the seat, of the order of 0.5 liters; - an electrical consumption of the order of 0.004 Kwh. These performances are due to the combination of a rotary seat, a projection of concentrated hot air up to very close to the top of the seat, a spraying of a solution heated by hot air and acting for 6 seconds before a concentrated water spray occurs very close to the top of the seat, the hot air continuing to act on the seat after this water spray removes dirt infiltrated by the heated solution.
Note: - that no point on the upper surface of the seat escapes the liquid and hot air projections, due to the rotation of the seat; - that the confinement of liquid projections on the seat is completed by controlling the annular spreading on the seat by one or two curtains of hot air. My process of tilting and exchanging seats, according to EP.83 400 757-7, was taken over by a company which chose not to use a rotary washer arm, or to dry directly on the seat. The means used are 16 nozzles in a fixed position in front of the seat stopped in the cleaning station, and a diffuse projection of hot air in the cleaning box.
These means have the disadvantage of consuming 4 to 5 times more water with a low pinging pressure on the seat, due to the dispersion in 16 nozzles, and an electrical consumption 10 to 12 times higher due to indirect drying. . In addition, cleaning is random because it is not sequential and does not include a cleaning solution, but only a sprinkling of water associated with a disinfectant, which lacks effectiveness in removing fatty substances, including the sebum deposited by the buttocks and in which the germs shelter.
More specifically, the present invention is exposed with drawings described chronologically.

Figure 5 is a partial side view in section of a WC installation according to a variant of Fig.1, and comprising: - the partition 1 forming the back wall of the WC room; - A receiver 37 whose bottom has the same function as the receiver 20, fig. 1 and 4; - A cover in the form of an inverted drawer 38, closed on top and open at least partially below, supporting and transporting the cleaning-drying means 16 to 18; - a double-acting hydraulic cylinder 39 for the movements of the drawer back and forth on the rear and annular part of the seat 4; - A plug 40 closing the loading opening of the tank 11, fig.1, placed, in this variant, near the cleaning means 16 to 18, this plug pressing on an electric switch 41, so that when the plug is not replaced, or is protruding from the top of the drawer, the general power supply is cut and the installation cannot function; - a protruding pin 42, at the end of the motor shaft 22 acts on a contactor 43 sending electrical pulses to the programmer counting, thus, the number of seat drive turns 4 By the pinion 21, the contactor can be replaced by the combination of a light source and a photo-diode arranged on either side of the rotating projection 42; - Nozzles 24, one of which can be placed, if necessary, inside the drawer; - A bowl 44, the contents of which are discharged through a large hole 45 in the partition, without siphon, optionally closed by a free tilting valve, in the form of a thin and light plate 46 mounted for rotation. By this valve bowl device, with a large hole, without siphon, we oppose the engorgement of the bowl, unlike siphon bowls that get easily clogged when there is a lot of paper or other objects thrown away in the bowl. The flush, brought by the conduit 6, participates in pushing the valve 46 for its tilting, allowing the evacuation of the contents of the bowl which are directed into a handling basket 47 including a grid formed of spaced blades 48 and longitudinally inclined to filter the objects thrown into the bowl, and so that bulky objects, capable of clogging the floor drain 49, are stopped by the grid and expelled at one end 50 of the basket. Figure 6 is an elevational view partially in section, detailing the means of fig.5, and comprising: - the rotary seat 4 including circular segments 51, in a sliding material, for coupling the seat to the one of the bowls 3, 29, 44, the segments being screwed below the seat, and from the rear of the bowl, by turning the seat as and when fixing a segment; - The drawer 38 shown punctured to show the cleaning-drying means it carries. These means include: - the electric generator 17, such as a small hair dryer with forced ventilation, including two nozzles (18), (18a) concentrating hot air very close to the top of the seat; - two nozzles (16), (16a) concentrating a liquid as close as possible to the top of the seat; - The tank 11 providing a low flow rate of a cleaning solution flowing in the nozzle 18 to be heated and sprayed on the top of the seat. The nozzles (16), (16a) and (18), (18a) cooperate to confine the liquids on the rear and annular part of the seat, limiting the annular spreading, so that no liquid flows out. the outside of the bowl, due to the rotation of the seat, and without requiring friction means such as a brush and / or a scraper. This sequential cleaning technique, with activation and confinement of the liquids sprayed on the seat, is particularly effective by not requiring any means of friction on the top of the seat, while ensuring a serious, economical, rapid cleaning, by simple, hygienic means. . In this example of cooperation of the nozzles (16), (16a) and (18), (18a), the seat can rotate in any direction.
La buse 16 comprend une succession de trous projetant des jets liquides 52 sur un plan incliné 53, de manière à fournir une lame d'eau cinglant le dessus du siège pour évacuer les salissures infiltrées par la solution pulvérisée et activée par l'air chaud.FIG. 7 is an elevational view, complementary to FIG. 6, to show another example of cooperation of nozzles projecting a concentrated liquid as far as very close to the top of the seat, and projecting concentrated air as far as very close to the above the seat. In this example of cooperation, the seat will not rotate in any direction, but in the direction going from the liquid nozzle 16 to the air nozzle 18a. The nozzle 16 comprises a succession of holes projecting liquid jets 52 onto an inclined plane 53, so as to provide a blade of water that lashes the top of the seat to evacuate the dirt infiltrated by the sprayed solution and activated by the hot air.
Par ces moyens, on s'assure que les liquides ne pourront s'écouler sur le siège en l'absence d'un ou deux rideaux d'air nécessaire à empécher qu'une partie de ces liquides ne s'écoule en dehors de la cuvette et du récepteur 20, 37.FIG. 8 is a view, with a magnifying glass, of a detail of FIG. 7 and comprising: - an electrical contactor with flexible strips 54, fixed on the nozzle (18a) so that the solenoid valves supplying the cleaning liquids are not under electric voltage only when the slats 54 touch under the action of the ventilation of the generator 17. The electric induction emitted by the operation of the fan 17, could make it possible to temporarily close the electric circuit of said solenoid valves connected to the programmer. By these means, it is ensured that liquids cannot flow on the seat in the absence of one or two air curtains necessary to prevent part of these liquids from flowing outside the bowl and receiver 20, 37.
Figure 9 is an elevational and sectional view of the tank 11 containing means for producing and dosing a cleaning solution, and comprising: - a solid and soluble chemical, in the form of a stack of tubes 55 loaded one by one into the tank 11; - A turnstile 56, connected to a timed solenoid valve, for circular watering at the base of said stack, watering causing erosion and progressive dissolution of these tubes; - A conduit 57 connected to the nozzle 18 of the hot air generator 17, fig.6 and 7, so as to heat and spray said solution.
Figure 10 is an elevational and sectional view of the tank 11 containing means for producing and dosing a cleaning solution, and according to a variant of Fig.9. This variant includes: - the soluble tubes 55; - A water supply pipe 58 connected to a timed solenoid valve; - a siphon 59 connected to the nozzle 18 of the hot air generator, and taking, at each operating cycle, part of the solution; - A central grid 60 preventing the collapse of the tubes 33 softened by their soaking in the tank.
We will note that during the advancement of the drawer 38, partially open below, this opening is hidden by the rear and annular part of the seat. The cleaning and drying means (16) to (18a) are therefore permanently locked and inaccessible by the user.
