Abstract

Un appareil de chauffage portatif possédant un organe à chauffer, comporte des tubes de brûleur permettant de chauffer ledit organe; une cartouche d'alimentation en combustible permettant de fournir du combustible aux tubes du brûleur, la cartouche comprenant une soupape fixe de distribution de combustible permettant de réguler le débit de combustible provenant de la cartouche; et un ensemble actuateur permettant d'actionner la soupape de distribution de combustible en réponse à l'actionnement par l'utilisateur pour déclencher l'écoulement de combustible provenant de la cartouche, l'ensemble actuateur comprenant un piston, un mécanisme permettant de déplacer le piston vers une première position en liaison fonctionnelle avec la soupape de distribution de combustible pour ouvrir cette dernière et un mécanisme permettant de déplacer le piston vers une seconde position hors d'une liaison fonctionnelle avec la soupape de distribution de combustible, de sorte que cette dernière interrompt l'écoulement de combustible en direction des tubes du brûleur. Le mécanisme permettant de déplacer le piston vers une seconde position comprend un levier monté en pivot; un ressort pour solliciter le levier dans une première direction; un commutateur pour solliciter le levier dans une seconde direction opposée contre la force du ressort; une bague fixée au piston; et un arbre monté de manière coulissante et pouvant être mise en prise avec la bague par le levier pour déplacer le piston dans la seconde position lorsque le commutateur sollicite le levier dans la seconde direction. En outre, l'appareil comporte un dispositif à sécurité intégré permettant de couper l'alimentation en gaz lorsque la température du brûleur excède la plage de température normale de fonctionnement.
