Des compositions diététiques sous la forme de comprimés à mâcher formés par compression ou par extrusion comprennent des quantités variables de protéines de divers types, d'acides aminés, d'hydrates de carbone, de lipides, de vitamines, de sels, d'agents gonflants et aromatisants, selon l'utilisation en vue. Ces compositions sont utiles comme repas de remplacement hypocaloriques, de même que comme compléments nutritionnels lors de la pratique de sports.
