The pivoting movement is limited by the iron core of the coil and by a wall 1c in the striking plate 1.
  • a detent slide 7 with a U-shaped cross section can reciprocate longitudinally in a space in the striking plate, with guidance by the walls such as 1d, 1e and 1f thereof, and the unillustrated cover plate on the front side 1b of the striking plate.

If it is now attempted to pivot the pivoting bolt 2 anti-clockwise (towards the observer) via the door lock bolt, the edges 2c and 2d on the pivoting bolt will press the intermediate element 9 via its chamfered edges 9b and 9c out from the recess 2b in the bolt 2 so that the projection 9a is displaced towards the detent slide 7.

  • the un ⁇ illustrated plate covering the front side 1b of the striking plate is removed, the detent slide 7 is lifted away from the striking plate and the stud 8 of the armature 5 and is turned 180 about an axis at right angles to the plane of the slide, after which the slide is reinserted in the striking plate so that the recess 7b is situated adjacent the projection 9a, and a recess 7d corresponding to the recess 7a accommodates the stud 8. After this rearrangement the covering plate is screwed back onto the striking plate.

Abstract

Dispositif monté sur gâches à déclenchement électrique, agissant de concert avec un organe analogue à celui que l'on trouve dans une serrure de porte, la gâche comportant un bobinage électrique (3) avec une armature mobile (5), un système de détente (7) manoeuvrable par l'armature, et un mécanisme de pêne pivotant (2, 9) s'engageant avec ledit organe, ce mécanisme autorisant ou interdisant l'écartement de l'organe de la gâche en réponse à une excitation éventuelle du bobinage. Un élément intermédiaire (9) agissant de concert avec le pêne pivotant et l'élément de blocage absorbe les efforts transmis par l'intermédiaire du pêne pivotant à l'élément de blocage lorsque ledit organe tend à faire pivoter le pêne pivotant de sa position verrouillée par le système de détente. Ce dernier est monté de manière amovible dans la gâche dans une ou deux positions au choix permettant ainsi le déclenchement éventuel de la gâche lors de l'excitation ou de la désexcitation du bobinage.
