Abstract
Un appareil sert à chauffer du matériau thermoplastique ou un matériau en papier recouvert d'un matériau thermoplastique à l'aide de l'énergie de micro-ondes. L'appareil comprend un bloc d'alimentation (1) formé d'un groupe unique comprenant une unité génératrice d'énergie de micro-ondes (2), une unité de chauffage (3), une unité d'absorption d'énergie (4) et des antennes (5-7) pour transmettre l'énergie de micro-ondes entre les unités (2-4). L'unité de chauffage (3) forme une région allongée de chauffage pour les matériaux à chauffer et ensuite à sceller, et comprend une section creuse allongée (10) avec une fente allongée similaire (11) dans laquelle le matériau thermoplastique à sceller se déplace à une distance prédéterminée d'un agencement à languette (12) dans la section (10), sur la partie intérieure de la paroi qui comporte la fente. L'unité de chauffage (3) comprend en outre à ses extrémités deux antennes (6, 7) pour transmettre l'énergie de micro-ondes produite par l'unité génératrice d'énergie de micro-ondes (2) aux différentes unités (2-4). L'énergie de micro-ondes non-utilisée est transférée à l'unité de chauffage (3) et peut être transmise par l'antenne (7) montée à une extrémité de l'unité de chauffage (3) à l'unité d'absorption d'énergie (4) et éventuellement à l'unité génératrice de micro-ondes (2). En d'autres termes, l'unité de chauffage (3) peut fonctionner aussi bien comme un résonateur que comme un conducteur de transmission de micro-ondes.
