Abstract

Un procédé et un appareil de traitement de signaux sont proposés pour traiter un signal d'image couleur échantillonné du type ayant une composante de luminance très échantillonnée G et des composantes de chrominance moins échantillonnées R et B pour produire des valeurs de composantes de chrominance interpolées entre des valeurs de composantes de chrominance échantillonnées. Le procédé comprend les étapes de production de valeurs de composantes de teinte au niveau des points d'échantillonage des composantes de chrominance voisins en fonction d'une valeur de luminance et la valeur de chrominance au niveau des points voisins, de production d'un signal représentant une valeur d'une composante de teinte interpolée en fonction des valeurs des composantes de teinte voisines, et de production d'un signal représentant une valeur d'une composante de chrominance interpolée en fonction de la valeur de la composante de teinte interpolée et une valeur de luminance au niveau du point interpolé. Le procédé de traitement de signaux réduit l'effet de franges colorées dans une image reproduite à partir du signal d'image échantillonné sans introduire de changements de teinte indésiré.
