Abstract

Procédé de fractionnement de composés, lesquels, dans des solvants essentiellement non-polaires forment des micelles fixes ou co-micelles, et par conséquent ne peuvent être fractionnées normalement au moyen d'une filtration par membranes. En dissolvant un mélange de ces composés dans un système de solvant dans lequel a lieu une formation sélective de micelles, et en mettant en contact la solution sous pression avec une membrane semi-perméable pour séparer le mélange en un perméat et en rétentat, on peut obtenir le fractionnement du mélange de composés, c'est-à-dire on peut récupérer du perméat et/ou du rétentat, par extraction du solvant, une fraction enrichie en l'un de ces composés. Le nouveau procédé est utile notamment pour le fractionnement de mélanges contenant des phosphatides en une fraction enrichie en phosphatidyl choline par ultrafiltration d'une solution du mélange dans un système de solvant comprenant un solvant essentiellement non-polaire et un solvant polaire, par exemple de l'hexane-éthanol, etc. au travers d'une membrane semi-perméable, et en récupérant du perméat une fraction enrichie en phosphatidyl choline. Une fraction enrichie en phosphatidyl inositol peut être extraite du rétentat.
